At The HEX Group, we are constantly seeking new ways to reduce our impact on the environment and contribute to wider global sustainability targets.

That’s why we are so pleased to welcome our new team member, Anna Hamer, who joins us as Group Environmental & Sustainability Co-ordinator!

Full of passion, drive and energy, Anna will be focused on helping The HEX Group to reach our 2037 carbon neutrality goals.

Anna initially spent time with The HEX Group for work experience in 2022. During her time here, she impressed us so much that we offered Anna a role upon completing her A-Levels. 

Anna’s passion for sustainability comes from years of watching how climate change impacts the world around us, through extreme weather impacting people’s day-to-day lives, to the stark warning of what the future holds if more work isn’t done to reduce our environmental impact.

Now at The HEX Group, Anna is excited to apply her enthusiasm and knowledge for sustainability in a business environment. Working across all divisions, Anna will gain hands-on experience with the opportunity to introduce sustainable practices across The HEX Group.

Despite having secured her first role within sustainability already, Anna’s has a strong desire to research and learn more about sustainability. To help, we're supporting Anna to undertake an Environmental Science course at Keele University.

We’re incredibly excited to see what the future holds for Anna at The HEX Group, and we can’t wait to see what her promising future has in store for her.
